The information hub for all CST activities for the duration of the response. Conducts hazard plume modeling and provides information for vulnerability analysis. Coordinates logistical and transportation concerns of the CST.

Idaho Civil Support Team trains with California, Oregon and Nevada’s CST units in the San Francisco Bay AreaMEDICAL:
Provides on-site analysis of unknown CHEM, BIO or RAD agents in fully-accredited mobile laboratory. Conducts reach-back with subject matter experts. Provides CBRN-related medical advice to EMS, hospitals and public health agencies.

DECON:
Provides technical decontamination of CST personnel and other emergency responders.


SURVEY:
Detection and initial identification of a suspected CHEM, BIO, or RAD agent in the “hot zone” using the appropriate PPE. Collects and prepares samples of suspected agents for delivery to the mobile lab in accordance with proper chain of custody.
