Brig. Gen. Shannon Smith Assistant Adjutant General-Air: Brig. Gen. Shannon SmithBrigadier General Shannon Smith is the Assistant Adjutant General-Air, Gowen Field, Boise, Idaho. As the Assistant Adjutant General, he ensures the continued readiness of more than 1,200 Airmen, supporting both the State and Federal mission. He is responsible for formulating, developing and coordinating all policies, plans and programs for all units assigned to the Idaho Air National Guard, which includes the 124th Fighter Wing equipped with A-10s and the 266th Range Squadron.

Colonel Kyle E. Carpenter is the Director of Staff, Joint Forces Headquarters, Idaho Air National Guard. He serves as the principal advisor to the Adjutant General and/or Assistant Adjutant on a broad range of matters concerning the United States Air Force and Air National Guard. Col. Carpenter is the chief executive officer responsible for the diversified function including logistics, information systems, manpower and personnel, public affairs, recruiting and retention, 266th Range Squadron, and medical and state emergency responses.

Command Chief Master Sgt. Kelly BongioviSenior Enlisted Advisor: Command Chief Master Sgt. Nathaniel DurfeeCommand Chief Master Sergeant Nathaniel Durfee is the State Command Chief of the Idaho Air National Guard. Chief Durfee is the senior enlisted advisor to the Assistant Adjutant General-Air.
