The fire control specialist integrates and processes tactical battlefield information from multiple users and sensors through a network of Army and JOINT automated battle command systems.

The wheeled vehicle mechanic is primarily responsible for supervising and performing maintenance and recovery operations on wheeled vehicles and associated items, as well as heavy-wheeled vehicles and select armored vehicles.

 

Maintain wheeled vehicles, their associated trailers and material handling equipment systems 
• Inspecting, servicing, maintaining, repairing, replacement, adjusting and testing of wheeled vehicles and material handling equipment systems, subsystems and components
• Service automotive electrical systems including wiring harness, and starting and charging systems
• Perform wheeled vehicle recovery operations are arranged in an irregular circular pattern around the central impact area which is approximately 53,000 acres.

The artillery impact area, also referred to as the core or duded impact area, is located within the larger overall impact area and is a 3,400 acre site which is the primary target area for artillery, mortars and other dud producing munitions.
