RED RIBBON WEEK

The Idaho National Guard Service Member & Family Support team invites you and your children to participate in Red Ribbon Week 2021, taking place October 25th-29th. This year’s Red Ribbon Week theme is Drug Free Looks Like Me. The theme is a call to action to speak out in support of healthy choices. It also serves as a reminder that we are all empowered with shaping the communities around us through positivity, bravery and strength. Here are a few ways you and your family can participate:

1. COLORING PAGE & PLEDGE: Attached you will find a coloring sheet and drug free pledge for adults and youth. You can fill these out with your kids, and return them to your nearest armory or Trunk or Treat event to receive a free gift from your Service Member & Family Support Specialist (See below for an event near you). Additionally, you can take a picture of your coloring sheet or with your pledge and post it to our Facebook Group!

2. WEAR RED ON THURSDAY: Wear something RED on Thursday, Oct 28 to support a drug free lifestyle. Take a picture and post it to our Facebook!

3. WATCH US ON SOCIAL MEDIA: Every day we will post an interesting tidbit from Red Ribbon Week on our Facebook and Instagram Pages, so join us to learn more!

5-7pm MT @ Gowen, BLDG 270 Parking Lot

5-9pm PST @ Post Falls Armory

1-4pm @ Lewiston Armory
