Senior Enlisted Leader: Command Sgt. Maj. Scott White
Command Sergeant Major Scott B. White is a native of Homedale, Idaho. CSM White entered the Army on April 04, 1994. He attended Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, and Advanced Training at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
Throughout his 27 years of service, CSM White has held the 68W Combat Medic MOS, and has served in every enlisted leadership position from Senior Line Medic; Flight Medic Instructor; Medical Platoon Sergeant; First Sergeant, C Co. MED 145th BSB; Command Sergeant Major, 116th BSTB/BEB; Idaho Army National Guard State Command Sergeant Major; and was selected to be the Idaho National Guard Senior Enlisted Leader in April 2021.
He has also served as a Line Medic 3-7 Cavalry Squadron, Fort Stewart, Georgia; Flight Medic, 571st Medical Detachment (Air Ambulance), Fort Carson, Colorado; First Sergeant, Joint Forces Headquarters; and Operations Sergeant Major, Installation Support Unit.
His deployments and assignments include Flight Medic, 571st Medical Detachment (Air Ambulance), Operation Southern Watch; Senior Evacuation NCO, FOB McHenry, Iraq, Operation Iraqi Freedom; and DPW First Sergeant, Victory Base Complex, Iraq, Operation New Dawn.
His military education includes all levels of NCOES, professional development, leadership and multiple other military courses.
His awards and decorations include: Meritorious Service Medal with one bronze oak leaf cluster, Army Commendation Medal with four bronze oak leaf clusters, Army Achievement Medal with four bronze oak leaf clusters, Iraq Campaign Medal with campaign star, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Combat Medic Badge, Expert Field Medical Badge and Aircraft Crewman Badge.
CSM White and his wife Tonia reside in Marsing, Idaho, with their three children Hannah, Caleb and Justus.
