Command Sergeant Major Travis H. McCallum

Command Sergeant Major Travis H. McCallum is a native of Rathdrum, Idaho, and a graduate of Lakeland High School. CSM McCallum joined the Idaho Army National Guard on 21 November 1994. He attended Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.Throughout his 30 years of service, he has served in multiple enlisted leadership positions from Engineer Team Leader, Squad Leader, Training NCO, Platoon Sergeant, Readiness NCO, Operations NCO, First Sergeant, Command Sergeant Major in the 116th BEB, Command Sergeant Major of the 116th CBCT, and in his current position the Idaho Army National Guard’s State Command Sergeant Major.

CSM McCallum completed the Primary Leadership Development Course in 1998, Basic Non-Commissioned Officers Course in 2004, Senior Leader Course in 2012, and the United States Army Sergeant’s Major Academy in 2021.

He currently resides in Boise, Idaho, with his wife Katie and son Liam.
