Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Counseling Services
We are dedicated to helping service members, veterans, and their families by assessing for immediate behavioral health needs and offering therapeutic support, education, and case management services. We offer referrals to state, federal, and community programs for clinical and non-clinical needs.
Beyond the Yellow Ribbon is a federally funded program homed within Family Programs at Building 270 on Gowen Field. The program aims to meet the behavioral health counseling and community connection needs of service members, veterans, and retirees throughout Idaho.
Beyond the Yellow Ribbon consists of 2 behavioral health clinicians and 1 case manager. Eligibility for the program extends to any individual who has ever served their country, as well as their immediate family. This includes currently serving members of any branch, veterans, as well as retirees. The services are free and confidential and include individual, family, and group counseling sessions, as well as referrals to help families connect within their communities.
Beyond the Yellow Ribbon works with children, teens, and adults of all ages regarding any counseling issues. With this broad scope we aim to work with more families to provide care when it’s needed.
